Bringing Free Medical Outreach to Ghana
For many families in underserved communities across Northern Ghana and beyond, essential healthcare remains out of reach. The Impala Foundation’s Healthcare Programme bridges that gap by bringing medical services, health education, and wellness support directly to the people who need them most.
We run regular free medical outreach camps where community members access consultations, health screening, and referrals at no cost. Our teams focus on maternal and child health, nutrition, malaria and hygiene awareness, and support for the elderly and marginalised.
Working from Tamale and Accra out into rural districts, our approach is built on partnership: we work alongside local health workers, volunteers, and community leaders so every outreach is trusted, welcomed, and lasting.

Community education on malaria prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, hygiene, nutrition, and mental health.
Medical Supplies & First Aid
Distributing essential medicines and first-aid kits, and training community volunteers to respond to everyday medical needs.

Community Needs Assessment
We work with local leaders and health workers to identify communities with the greatest need and understand the health challenges they face.
Mobilising the Team
We assemble volunteer doctors, nurses, and health educators, and gather the medicines, screening equipment, and supplies each camp requires.
Free Screening & Treatment
On the day, community members receive free consultations, screening, treatment, and referrals, plus health education they can take home.
Maternal & Child Focus
Dedicated stations support mothers and children with nutrition advice, growth checks, and guidance on ante-natal and immunisation services.
Referrals & Follow-up
Anyone needing further care is referred to a partner clinic or hospital, and we follow up to make sure they get the treatment they need.
Awareness That Lasts
Every outreach leaves behind trained community volunteers and health knowledge, so the impact continues after our team has gone.
